Baja California is Mexico's 625 mile peninsula sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortes. The terrain is mostly inhospitable desert but offers a variety of spectacular landscapes, ancient indian cave paintings and stunningly beautiful beaches.
There is plenty to see and do. Choose from:

surfing from excellent surfing beaches
sport fishing for marlin., tuna, yellowtail .....
sea kyaking and island visits (over 1000 in the Sea of Cortes)

go riding, trekking or on 4WD safaris across fantastic desolate landscapes
see some of the most magnificent sunsets anywhere in the world
go spotting and watching seals and dolphins and whales (some 15 species) and most incredible of all visit the Pacific lagoons where between January and March thousands of grey whales come to mate and play - get right up close and maybe even touch them with a traditional panga (skiff) excursion
